TODD'S HERE!

Everyone, Todd is my best friend from home-- we were roommates this year, at school-- and you should get to know him because he's great. He's just a little shy.

Uh, Morgana-- thank you for letting me stay with you, but since it's a little too crowded to bring more people in, Todd and I are going to get our own place. It's been great, though, really! and you're welcome to come visit any time you like. And that goes for everyone over there, too! It's been amazing getting to know everyone. Though not very much like the legends at all.

Since there doesn't seem to be a curse today-- how are things going in terms of the play? I know that a lot of you have been getting the word out, but I'm not sure I've met everyone yet who was going to volunteer for a part, and I don't want to end up making an awful mess of things and having three people studying the same part or anything. I've really never done anything like this, so it's a bit daunting, honestly. We probably don't have to worry about group rehearsals just yet, but I'd like to get to know you all a bit! And, well, it would help to have a better idea of what parts still need to be filled.


So! Todd, unless you're not interested, I signed us up for fencing lessons! You're coming, right? It'll be fun! Oh, and I told Rosella we'd help her practice her lines for Helena at some point. And I still haven't really shown you around, have I... Everything's been so exciting and we've been so busy...



[ooc; OKAY REGARDING THE PLAY. i fail at keeping track of who's in it/who's organizing it/what's going on etc. Neil has been trying to keep a list of who was interested in what parts, but idk if anyone else has been put in charge of it? @_@ so um. if someone has and my list is stepping on toes then tell me and I'll totally back off. :O tho IC Neil would love to give you a hand. ;_; As one of his eventual goals was to start up a regular acting company in the City, ahaha. if no one has, then if you're involved with it could you give me a poke here or on that ooc entry for the sake of better bookkeeping? ^^ sob sorry if i've like. taken over. :O tell me to gtfo and I will. ilu poly!]

Ah-- there was a production at another school, nearby, with open auditions. I was Puck. It was amazing.

We never did anything like this at my high school. It was all about Death of a Salesman or... something else. I can't remember. I wasn't really into it back then. If anyone in Odessa had your enthusiasm, though, I probably would've been. Maybe they did and I just didn't pay attention.

My father thought acting was a waste of time, he'd never let me do it. The play at Henley Hall's the only one I've ever been in, actually; but I don't intend to let it be the last. You know, now that I'm here.

I know you're helping Blair out with the party in other ways-- but, you know, if you wanted to be in the play too, you'd be more than welcome. Or if not this one, I'm hoping... I don't know, that we can start some kind of a regular group here.

I... don't know if I'm really acting material. I'm kind of a moron when it comes to memorizing something that isn't like... the third grade production of something on a third grade level.

Well, there are some parts that don't have many lines, if you'd still like to try but you're nervous about memorizing? It's not so bad when you get into it-- when you've been working at it for a while, with other people, it's just like having a conversation, almost. We could always use more fairies?

What I'm nervous about is getting up there and having nothing to say but the lines to a Britney Spears song. But if fairies don't have to do much, I guess I could stand around and easily be a fairy. They're short, aren't they?

Certainly-- they wear bat-wings as cloaks.

Titania has a whole host of attendants, some don't speak at all-- so if you wanted you could just follow along and look mystical and sprite-like.
