It's a beautiful day, City. Make the most of it.

I need your advice. I'm looking for something to read, something that isn't poetry. Knowing I can't just makes me want to read more! Anything, really. Novels or essays or, I don't even know, so long as you like it.

Call it a change in perspective.

There are a hundred thousand lines that'd suit today and I can't remember one. Still. It's a small price to pay.

Have you read the Arabian Nights? I was read the French translation, but I am sure there is an English one available here.

If you find anything by Sir Edward Howe, I would suggest that. He writes about dragons and he is a particular friend of mine, but there doesn't seem to be anything of his in the library. Barnabas looked for me.

No, they do not, at least in Britain. It is unfortunate. In China, where they use scrolls, there are large ones for dragons to write on or read themselves, though I think it would be very difficult without a human to unroll them. I myself have learned to write with a brush.

I suppose even if there were large books for dragons the pages would still prove a difficulty, and I would still prefer Laurence to read to me anyway, most of the time.

I would appreciate that. There are several people who read to me sometimes, but I think one of them has gone.

Perhaps a scientific text? Or something with exciting battles in it.

If that does not work and there is an interesting book like that in your store, perhaps you could purchase it on my behalf. I do have some money, though not as much as I would like to have.
